Bounce Back from Cancer™ is a partnership among the Miami HEAT and Baptist Health South Florida to raise critical funds to help the non-profit Miami Cancer Institute achieve its vision of a world without cancer. Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States. One in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes. Bounce Back from Cancer™ is a full court press to defeat those statistics …and YOU can help!

Funds raised through Bounce Back from Cancer™, will help Miami Cancer Institute conduct breakthrough research, access the world's latest technologies and equipment, and retain internationally-recognized cancer experts who provide world-class cancer care right here at home.

Are you ready to take the first step in defeating cancer? Join us for Bounce Back from Cancer™, our community-wide, signature event! Friends and supporters will come together to raise critical research funds for Miami Cancer Institute in the Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Participants can choose their course:

Distance #1 - Bounce Back™ Challenge - Dribble a basketball or walk 14.2 miles from Miami Cancer Institute in Kendall to the Miami HEAT's Arena in downtown Miami. (Required individual fundraising goal $500).

Distance #2- Bounce Back from Cancer™ - Dribble a basketball or walk 2 miles from The Underline - Brickell to the Miami HEAT's Arena in downtown Miami. (Required individual fundraising goal $150).

BECOME an All-Star // MVP

An important key to our success is our fundraising All-Stars and MVP’s.
What is an All-Star and MVP?
They are an elite fundraising group of champions responsible for more than 60% of the total funds raised for Bounce Back from Cancer™.

The All-Stars and MVPs are our most passionate and dedicated fundraisers that raise at least $2,500 or $50,000 respectively for our annual initiative.

• If you were a fundraiser last year, please don’t forget to thank your past supporters.
• Please begin recruiting your teams - let’s get off to a fast start!
• Please be ready to e-mail all of your contacts, not just a few.
• Encourage members of your organization to join us, register and fundraise.
• Reach out to a few colleagues at other organizations to encourage their participation.
• Share your fundraising page on your social media accounts.

• 2 mile $25 registration + $150 required fundraising minimum
• 14.2 mile $25 registration + $500 required fundraising minimum

Fundraising is open until April 15, 2023. If you do not reach the minimum fundraising requirement, you will be charged the difference to your credit card on file.

The fundraising minimum is $150 to receive your box of Bounce Back™ swag.

Register for the event as a “Benchwarmer” and FUNDRAISE only.

Activation kits or Bounce Back™ Swag will be available for pick-up at Footworks in South Miami for those who meet the fundraising minimum.

Registration is $25. There is a minimum fundraising requirement of $150 to receive your box of Bounce Back™ swag”.

Registration closes the day of our event.
